OVERVIEW
This domain name transfer agreement (this “Agreement”) is made by and between Kenotronix (“Kenotronix”) and you, and is effective on the date of electronic acceptance. This agreement sets out the terms and conditions of your use of Kenotronix’s domain name transfer services (the “Services”) to transfer a registered domain name from another domain name registrar to Kenotronix as a domain name registrar.
Your electronic acceptance of this Agreement signifies that you have read, understood, acknowledged and agreed to be bound by this Agreement, as well as the Kenotronix Universal Terms of Service, the Domain Name Registration Agreement and the Uniform Policy of resolution of disputes relating to domain names, which are incorporated herein by reference.
The terms “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Kenotornix. The terms “you”, “your”, “user” or “customer” refer to any person or entity who accepts this agreement. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to confer any rights or benefits on third parties.
Kenotronix, in its sole and absolute discretion, may change or modify this Agreement, and any policies or agreements incorporated therein, at any time, and such changes or modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Kenotronix website. You acknowledge and agree that (i) Kenotronix may notify you of such changes or modifications by posting them on this site and (ii) your use of this site or the services found on this site after any such changes or modifications have been made will constitute your acceptance of this Agreement as last revised. If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement as last revised, do not use (or continue to use) this Site or the Services found on this Site. In addition, Kenotronix may occasionally notify you of changes or modifications to this Agreement by email. It is therefore very important that you keep your account information (“Account”) up to date, including your email address. Kenotronix assumes no responsibility for your inability to receive email notification if such failure results from an inaccurate or out of date email address.
You acknowledge and agree that as Registrar, Kenotronix is bound by an agreement with ICANN. You acknowledge and agree that Kenotronix may modify this Agreement in order to comply with its agreement with ICANN, as well as all other terms and conditions set forth by (i) ICANN and / or (ii) the registry applicable to the TLD top level domain or ccTLD country code top level domain in question.
This agreement will be effective upon acceptance of the Registration and Transfer Agreements in Step 3 of the online transfer request process.
TRANSFER PROCESS FOR ALL DOMAIN NAMES EXCEPT .CA DOMAIN NAMES
Steps for transferring your domain name registration
NOTE: Once the transfer is complete, you will be able to RENEW, MODIFY DNS and perform other functions by logging into your myaccount account manager. Fill in all the required information requested through the online transfer application, i.e. contact details, name server information etc. Access the cart and pay for your transfer (s). Update your administrative contact’s email address with your current registrar. We will contact the administrative contact email address for approval of the transfer. The transfer will only be initiated after approval from your administrative contact. Once initiated, a transfer will be accepted or refused by the losing registrar within five (5) days.
Failed or rejected transfer requests
Kenotronix may choose to accept or reject your domain name transfer request for any reason in its sole discretion. Releases can include, but are not limited to:
- The current registrar rejected the transfer;
- The original recording took place less than sixty (60) days before the transfer request;
- The domain name has been placed in a locked state by the registry or by the losing registrar;
- The domain was transferred to Kenotronix less than sixty (60) days before the transfer request;
- The domain name has expired but has not been renewed;
- The domain name has expired and been renewed during the forty-five (45) day grace period and the forty-five (45) day grace period has not yet expired;
- The domain name holder was changed less than sixty (60) days before the transfer request;
- There was an account change less than ten (10) days before the transfer request;
- Any current bankruptcy of the current holder of the domain name;
- Any dispute over the identity of the holder of the domain name;
- Any situation described in the dispute resolution policy; or
- Transfer orders older than thirty (30) days.
Terms of domain name transfer
Once the transfer is successful, you will remain the registrant of the domain name and the sponsoring registrar of Kenotronix will become the official registrar. Your registration will automatically be extended for one (1) year when it becomes available through the domain name registry (please see the product disclaimers located on this site for any applicable exceptions). Domain name registration transfers can only be initiated after acceptance of this agreement is registered, payment has been made, and the administrative contact has responded positively to our email requesting permission to transfer. The email requesting authorization to transfer will be sent to the administrative contact for the domain name (s) as identified in the WHO-IS database of the previous registrar. You agree to keep a copy for your own records of the purchase receipt for your domain name. The administrative contact will act on behalf of the holder and has the legal authority to initiate this transfer request. You are responsible for updating the administrative contact email as identified in the WHO-IS database of the previous registrar.
Recently renewed domain name transfers
You understand that if you transfer a domain name that has been recently renewed, it is possible that the renewal year will be lost. The renewal year will be lost if: (i) the domain name has been renewed during the grace period of forty-five (45) days after the expiration date; and (ii) forty-five (45) days have not yet elapsed since this expiration date. You understand and agree that Kenotronx is not responsible for this lost year and that Kentoronix will not credit this year on your domain. You will need to consult the registration contract you made with your former registrar to determine if you are entitled to a refund or credit for the lost year. Please contact your former registrar if you have any questions about the lost year. You understand and agree that Kenotronix will not intervene in the recovery of these lost years of registration occurring during the transfer of your domain name.
TRANSFER PROCESS FOR .CA DOMAIN NAMES
Steps for transferring your domain name registration
NOTE: Once the transfer is complete, you will be able to RENEW, CHANGE DNS and perform other functions by logging into your account manager. Fill in all the required information requested through the online transfer application, i.e. contact details, name server information etc. Access the cart and pay for your transfer (s). Update your administrative contact email address with your current registrar. We will send an email to your account email address for approval of the transfer. The transfer will be initiated immediately once the correct authorization code is provided.
Failed or rejected transfer requests

You understand that if you transfer a domain name that has been recently renewed, it is possible that the renewal year will be lost. You understand and agree that Kenotronix is not responsible for this lost year and that Kenotronix will not credit this year on your domain. You understand and agree that Kenotronix will not intervene in the recovery of these lost years of registration occurring during the transfer of your domain name.
Data for domain transfer
You understand that this is a registrar domain name transfer request. By accepting this agreement, you are requesting that the domain name registration be transferred from the current registrar to Kenotronix. You acknowledge that you and Kenotronix have entered into a domain name registration agreement. You have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by the agreements which govern all domain names registered through Kenotronix as found on the Legal Agreements page, including the Domain Name Registration Agreement; ICANN’s Rules for Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy; This agreement; all Kenotronix policies and procedures which are or may be published from time to time by Kenotronix.
TITLES AND ITEMS; INDEPENDENT ALLIANCES; DISSOCIABILITY
The titles and headings of this agreement are provided for convenience and ease of reference only and should not be used in any way to interpret or interpret the agreement of the parties as stated otherwise herein. Each pact and agreement of this Agreement shall be interpreted for all purposes as a separate and independent pact or agreement. If a court of competent jurisdiction considers any provision (or part of a provision) of this Agreement to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the remaining provisions (or parts of provisions) of this Agreement shall not be affected by it and shall be found. . be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
DEFINITIONS; CONFLICTS
Capitalized terms used but not defined herein will have the meaning assigned to them in the Universal Terms of Service Agreement. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this Agreement and the provisions of the Universal Terms of Service, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail.
